Concert Choir, member from 2004 to 2008

• Studied pieces in depth and performed three times a year, occasionally with other ensembles from the UCSC music department. Highlights include:
• Performed Honegger's Le Roi David
• Performed a celebration concert of Lou Harrison's work
• Performed Stravinsky's Mass
• Performed Gabriel Faure's Requiem
• Performed "Night at the Opera": a selection of works from famous operas by such composers as Bizet and Mozart
• Performed "Schubertiade:" a concert highlighting the works of Schubert
• Performed "Geistliches": a concert of works by Brahms and Mendlesson
• Performed "Human Portraits:" a concert of works by Harrison and Milhaud

Electronic Music Program, 2006 to 2008

• Performed an original duet for digital keyboard in a concert of student electronic compositions entitled Major Vs. Minor

Orchestration Class, 2007

• Had a private showing of student orchestration projects read and performed by the university chamber ensemble

Composistion Class, 2008

• Conducted a performance of an original piece for violin, cello, and clarinet in a concert of student compositions

Composer's Ensemble, member from March to June 2008

• Participated in the music department's composer's ensemble: a forum and gathering of student composers to discuss projects and gain feedback. Film score shown in the concert of original works

SAN MARIN HIGH SCHOOL, Novato CA

Concert Choir, Member from 2000 to 2001

• Performed at numerous venues in the community, as well as many performances at San Marin High

Jazz Choir, Member from 2001 to 2004

• Performed at numerous venues in the community, and participated in several jazz festivals and competitions. Highlights include:
• Performed and participated in Music in the Parks festival and workshop at Disneyland Resort
• Put on and performed at "Jazz Night": an evening at the high school of classic and contemporary jazz studied by the Jazz Choir and Jazz Band ensembles
• Performed and participated in various jazz concerts and festivals around Australia, including a performance with Balwyn High and the Allan High Jazz ensemble
• San Marin High Jazz ensembles performed at Sydney Town Hall in Sydney, Australia
• Two performances by the jazz ensembles at Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia
• Performance with Wollongong High School Jazz combosin Wollongong, Australia
• Performance at the Sydney Opera House in the Youth Musicale festivalin Sydney, Australia
• Performed and participated in various jazz concerts and festivals around Canada, including participating in British Columbia's High School Jazz intensive workshop
• Performed in Madrigal Feast: the entire music department put on an evening of revelry, fine dining, and renaissance holiday music to benefit the music department. Performance was three days each December

Musicals, 2001 to 2004

• Performed several shows in bi-annual musicals produced by the San Marin Music Department. Highlights inlcuded:
• Performed the role of Socrates and Chorus member, in the production of Godspell
• Performed the role of Amaryllis in the production of The Music Man
• Performed the role of Customer #1 in the production of She Loves Me
• Performed the role of stagehand/props manager and Chorus member, in the production of My Fair Lady
• Performed the role of Hope Harcourt in the production of Anything Goes
• Performed the role of Anybodys and Chorus member in the production of West Side Story

Show Choir, Member from 2003 to 2004

• A dance and vocal ensemble that performed and participated at various venues around the state, including other high schools and competitions. Highlights include:
• Performed and participated at R.A.V.E.S, a competition of show choirs from high schools across the state in Redding, CA.

COMMUNITY CHOIRS, Marin County, CA

Marin Children's Chorus, Member from 1997-1999

• Performed at numerous venues, including the Human Race, senior centers, churches, malls, and private parties

Chantons, Member from 1999-2004

• Small, highly selective female chamber ensemble: highest branch of the Marin Children's Choir. Performed more than 24 times a year at various venues, competitions, and festivals. Highlights included:
• Performed at the United Shopping Center in Marin
• Performed and participated in the Vienna Youth and Music Festivalin Vienna, Austria
• Performed at the holiday celebration of Las Posadas in Point Reyes, CA
• Performed and participated in the International Choral Kathaumixu Festivalin Powell River, British Columbia, Canada
• Performed selected works for the President of the Dominican Republic in San Francisco, CA
• Performed with the Marin Symphony a candlelight holiday concertat the Civic Center, San Rafael, CA

ROCK AND ROLL CAMP, Sonoma, CA, July 2001 and 2002

• A 4-week summer camp that studied and practiced classic rock and roll songs, performing a rock concert for the Sonoma community
• A 4-week songwriter's summer camp, in which participants composed and performed original songs for the Sonoma community
